Today, Media Create released its weekly report for video game sales in Japan, providing us with more sales data for Week 52. During that week, a total of 1.824 million games were sold, which is slightless than Week 51 (93.05%), but more than Week 52 in 2014 (120.25%). The increase is primarily due to two platforms: the Wii U and the PS Vita.
For the Wii U, Media Create notes that sales during Week 52 in 2015 were 161.12% of their level last year, during the same week.
During Week 52, a total of 379 000 consoles were sold in Japan, which is more than last week (116.21%), and last year during the same week (114.73%).
Super Mario Maker's last level has been beaten, after Trimming the Herbs was revealed to be totally bogus.
Nintendo has recently restored Wii U Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon online after five months of being offline.
