PlayStation Releases for January 2016

PlayStationing writes: "Rainbow Six: Siege was one of the better games in December, but everything tends to quieten down at the end of the year anyway. January is usually quite quiet as well, and January 2016 is no different. We suggest you look at some old games you missed out on as February and March will be very exciting and painful on your wallets. In any case, here’s the full list of games you can expect for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms in January 2016."

The witness is a must buy, awesome to have great games coming so soon into 2016. Might grab gone home too, never played it and have heard pretty good things.

Cant believe Witness is finally releasing. I remember it being shown back when the PS4 was first announced.

And I can't believe so many RPG's are finally releasing! WOW! At least four of those are RPG's in that list. One from space, one with a viking theme nice!

rezzah3042d ago

I'll be grabbing my copy for sure.

I can't wait for this game. This is one of my most anticipated games. I want to sit down with a coffee and some weed and just relax and explore the island and solve puzzles. I'm very happy that it's a very very LONG game as well.

Don't download "Gone Home" it's terrible. Just watch a youtube video, don't waste your money. It's a 15 minute "note-reading" simulator.

#1 Most Overrated Game of All Time.

Here's a very thorough walkthrough of the game, without commentary. Somehow they managed to stretch it out all the way to an hour and a half, scouring every nook and cranny:

First time through though, I beat it in about 25 minutes. Waste of time. Waste of money.

Early 2016 is off to a fairly good start.

The Witness, Amplitude, Hardware: Rivals, Stardust Vanguards, Resident Evil 0: HD Remaster, The Banner Saga, Gone Home, Shadow of the Beast are on my list. Hopefully PS+ has some surprises in store for me.

Lots to choose from, but I'll be first picking up Life Is Strange: Limited Edition and Resident Evil Origins Collection. Then Jonathan Blow will get my money. Harmonix already have my money from the Kickstarter so just awaiting my download code. :)

Come Join Me in the Cult of The Witness

The Witness might be one of the best games ever made. A fun, frequently frustrating study on mysteries, humanity and a love of true magic.

The Witness is pure brilliance. I platinum'd it on PS4 and recently replayed it on PS5. It's definitely an incredible experience that requires no spoilers so just let the island guide you. Yes, the puzzles can get tough but they are never beyond completion so take come back and go see other things. There is also a ton of storytelling and mystery in the visuals. The Witness is the first game I have played that really took my mind to new heights of creative thinking and perspective. This game is more than meets the eye and 100% a masterpiece.

RobDealer1103d ago (Edited 1103d ago )

100% agree! This game offers such a unique challenge.. growing up I used to think that Midnight Resistance was tough, then Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts.. fast forwards to Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Destiny's Raids.. but this game was on another level. And when you finally finish it you feel great satisfaction! Trippy ending too 👌🏻

Everyone should also try Superliminal.
