Escape From Tarkov May Be Coming To Consoles; New Stunning Screenshots Released

Escape from Tarkov has a chance of coming to consoles as well, according to Russian developer Battlestate Games. Here's some amazing new screenshots.

First time reading about this game, at first I thought someone modded Frostbite (BF4). It definitely looks good and the gameplay seem to keep up too.

So what I can tell at Face-value, This game is just an Post Apocalyptic Open-World Survival game. Like DAYz without the zombie infestation.

Game looks brilliant. How it'll run and even play is another thing entirely. Open-World survival/horror/shooters have become a little played out over time. I even liked some of them but this will have to be special to keep me interested.

American ooen world games have been played out. This is from another region with a different style. Im dying for a game like S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Metro again.

I like what Ive seen this far, more gameplay and some recomended spec would be good though, I have a GTX 960 4GB, an older 4 Core i5 and 16GB ram So I guess Im good, but depends on how scalable and optimized the game will be.

Also Metro is the shiet, got the old versions on steam and Redux on Ps4. Cant wait for their next game. :)

Some of the artist and programmers from Stalker are working on this game. I heard the game is 70 % done as far features and 30% in terms of content, for the PC. So don't expect to hear anything about consoles till maybe late 2016 early 2017. The game is looks beautiful tho. You can watch some gameplay here.

Yeah, it will definitely be a while before it comes out on consoles. But I think it will, there's no reason for them not to tap into that market considering how easily a PC game made with Unity can be ported to PS4/XB1.

About what in particular? Admittedly it's too early to tell for sure, but what they showed so far looks great.

Showing is the problem. How many games have developers shown, and work totally opposite of what they have shown. It looks too good, and the concept sounds amazing, but I've been burned too many times to believe the game will play and looked like the trailers.

If it truly runs at 120FPS on high end GPU on PC, we can at least hope it will run at 60FPS on console.

While 60 is ideal on console, a locked solid 30 is fine by me.

Not saying it cant be done but this game is looking pretty good as of now and I rather have a locked FPS than a very fluctuating one with screen tearing and juddery image especially on Consoles that doesnt support technology like G sync that makes a fluctuating FPS a lot more bearable on a compatible screen.

So if they cant have a sturdy 60 fps on consoles, meaning a consistant and a pretty high average fps of like 58+FPS Id say at least give the option to lock it to 30 on consoles like Infamous SS does.

Saw this game the other day on Jackfrags youtube channel. looks cool but its a survival game so ill sit back and wait awhile before i get too hyped for it

i like the mod for dayz better then Dayz standalone. But im saying i get hyped for almost every type of survival game, some turn out good or decent but most turn into shit ( just deleted off my steam library or HDD)

You CAN play offline Single Player. They just don't prefer it. It'll be like playing ARMA 3 solo offline. Or even IGI 2.
