A new prediction for the Nintendo NX update has been made by industry analyst Michael Pacther, who believes the way they have conducted business in the past with their Wii consoles reveals a different release date.
Pachter has already gone on record that the Japanese games giant will need the return of third-party support to take on the PS4 and Xbox One, and has also backed the NX to make a firm impact if the top gaming titles return.
He puts his prediction down to the fact that nothing has come to him in connection with dev kits being released for the new console, making a launch in 2016 unlikely.
"Nintendo' history has been to announce a console around E3 and launch a year-and-a-half later. We didn't get an announcement at this year's E3."
Aspyr Media Inc allegedly used a fan-made PC mod to add previously Xbox exclusive content to Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.
Aspyr if we sell hotcakes get that code from radical or something and create battlefield 3 please
I thought that was kind of obvious they were incorporating mods to piece this game together. Maybe not, but that's made me worried about one thing:
They also planned on adding the modded ending to KOTOR 2 but were legally blocked from doing so, even after they advertised that to help sell preorders for the game on Switch. Could the same happen with this? Any opponents have 3 weeks to bring down the hammer.
Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter believes it's an incorrect gamers' perception that Microsoft has lost to Sony.
"If we change what our goal is, we're not losing" attitude. Kind of like how Microsoft didn't lose to Valve, they just changed their business model. And they didn't lose to Android and iOS, they just changed their business model. They 100%, after spending 3 generations competing heavily in console hardware, aren't losing to Sony, they're just changing their business model.
You can't ever lose if you just 'change your business model'!
How's this guy still around. According to him consoles were dying after ps2, ps3 Era.
They only way that plan works is if people still want to play in their ecosystem.
Eventually, they’re ecosystem needs more games.
Helldivers 2 could swing Xbots to ps6 if it isn’t countered by the end of the gen.
