Brutal mode sounds like a cool change to Performance. Kind of like how in Rocksmith if you consistently 100% sections, they disappear.

I just want my Track Packs and the Rock Band 1-3 song import.

Im sure people will start crying the moment they find out there is a massive possibility your going to have to pay for the Rock Band 1-2 import and will without a doubt have to pay a fee for the Rock Band 3 import....People already have a hard time grasping that Harmonix is on their own now, they don't have a major or minor publisher backing them anymore. They are practically a new indie studio all over again

We've always payed for imports in the past, it shouldn't be a surprise. $14.99 to import 60-80 songs is a bargain when songs cost $1.99 each.
