Crackdown 3 is an odd one. It has a potential to be a fantastic demonstration of Microsoft's cloud-powered future. But it could be a £40 tech demo without much depth. Hoping for the best on this one.

Wildlands not hitting till mid to late 2017 is my bet.

Crackdown 3 is being made by the original team led by David Jones, who also happens to be the guy behind the tech for Crackdown 3.

I have no doubt this game will be awesome.

Only the multiplayer portion is releasing next year which is a little disappointing but it's always worrying when you have 3 studios working together. (Fortunately with no language barrier although Sumo Digital here in Sheffield may sometimes struggle with Reagent and Cloudgine's Scottish accents) And given that 2 of those studios are brand new I just hope they canhit the ground running.

Uncharted 3 was meh. Couldnt finish it and didnt like the multiplayer. Uncharted 2 is 1 of the best games I played though

guyman3088d ago

That makes no sense at all.

Bladesfist3088d ago

It does make sense, I also think Uncharted 2 was a masterpiece but did not finish Uncharted 3. It just did not pull me in the same way 2 did. I really liked golden abyss as well, more than I liked 3.

guyman3088d ago

Uncharted 3 was not meh in the slightest.

looks like they're continuing to ruin Ghost Recon

The Lasting Legacy Gran Turismo Sport Had On A New Generation Of Sim Racers

On the day that Gran Turismo Sport’s online services are switched off for good, a reflection on how impactful the game was for the sim racing industry.

purple101121d ago

fantastic game

innovative match making with player ettiquite tasked into account

GT7 improves on it with:

all the same tracks + loads more tracks
all the same cars + loads more cars
improved / new physics
dualsense support + haptics for road bumps
improved lighting + weather changable mid race
much more vast one player races, challenges, leagues etc.

more of an iteration than a revelation, but what they improve, they have improved so drastically it is deffo worth getting.

Why Gran Turismo Sport’s Final Update Bodes Well for GT7's Preservation

McLaren has turned its Vision Gran Turismo concept into a real car

First an in-game concept car for GT Sport and Gran Turismo 7, the BC08 Solus GT has turned the virtual into the reality for 25 lucky customers.

ApocalypseShadow650d ago

Dat Vision Gran Turismo. Always getting new concept cars. Art imitating life imitating art.

If it's not "The Real Driving Simulator," it's definitely "The Real Car Creator."

MajorLazer648d ago

Actually, the manufacturers design the VGT cars so really manufacturers are "imitating" their own creations. Still, the VGT program has some relevance, which I argued on GTPlanet too.

purple101649d ago (Edited 649d ago )

I saw on YouTube the other day Lamborghini have also turned their vision Gt car into a real life car.

DaniMacYo648d ago

Yeah seen this so cool hope it comes to the game.

aaronaton648d ago

It just shows the talent that is at Polyphony Digital when real manufacturer's are that impressed with their designs.
Meanwhile over at Turn10....Hotwheels, Lego, and Minecraft avatars.

INMATEofARKHAM648d ago

What are you talking about... Car was designed by McLaren.
