Phantasy Star Online is without a doubt one of the best action-RPGs 4CR have ever played. If you happen to come across this gem, give it a try. You might like what you find.
Man, Phantasy Star can be confusing. There are so many different kinds of games in this series, but they all get tossed under the same umbrella. The oldest games are turn-based RPGs. The newer ones vary between MMOs and action-RPGs. Wouldn’t it be nice if things were simplified...
Phantasy Star online episode 1 and 2 is one my all time favorites. Just make that better...
What I need to know is when is Sega going to make and release Phantasy Star 5. All I need to know.
"Phantasy Star Online 2 (GameCube, 2012)"
May want to change that to (PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Android, PC and iOS, 2012)
I need to know when the fuck SEGA is gonna wake up and make a full on PSO 3 with the unreal 4 engine or some shit so I can get lost in the best god damn futuristic world with my pet mag as their god-tier PSO themed music blasts my ear drums forever and ever.
Wake the hell up SEGA, the time is NOW!
"What was your first online gameplay experience? Mine was this baby right here, Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast (later appearing on PC, GameCube, and Xbox). We're talking dial-up internet, trying to type messages with a controller, and trying to get creepers to stop asking weird questions. Good times!" -GR
Sega should localize Phantasy Star Online 2 and Phantasy Star Nova for Vita. Seriously. These are great games.
Dreamcast, Phantasy Star Online and Quake 3 Arena. I don't know if these were just perfect for my taste in games, or if they actually defined my taste in games.
PSO sent me on a path of MMORPGs, and I still look for an FPS as good as Quake 3.
Phantasy Star Online was an awesome game even with the PKers. I hate those people.
