Game Informer reveals Batman: Arkham Asylum

Specifically, the game will release in 2009, is much darker in tone, and is being written by Paul Dini, author of Batman: The Animated Series. What's more, the game is said to rely on both detective and combat elements, will run on Unreal Engine 3 (most likely confirming the title for at least Xbox 360, PS3, and PC), and is played with an over-the-shoulder perspective.

Starring villains so far include Joker, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Zsasz, Penguin, Riddler, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and Mr. Freeze.

It's unclear whether the Arkham Asylum announcement will have any effect on the still unreleased Batman: The Dark Knight, which was confirmed in development last year, before recently dropping off the radar.

Unreal Engine again... Let's hope they know how to use it as well as Epic does. Lots of shiny environments coming if not.

I hope this does the Batman universe justice.

This could be sick. A game like this is just begging for episodic treatment. Imagine fighting a different villian with there own storyline once or twice a month. Hope it turns out good

Keep in mind that regardless of your stance or interest in this, be it good or bad; the ToS agreement makes it so you can't leave negative reviews once accepted.

Hence why I posted video so people can watch and make up their own minds and I will reserve my final thoughts until the final build.

Star Citizen showcases the creation of the two brand-new animals coming to alpha 3.23

Land on any planet in Star Citizen currently and you’ll be greeted by things like weather patterns, flora, and very possibly a derelict or two. What you won’t find are any animals, however. That’s going to change with alpha 3.23’s release, as CIG has finally put together two animals to populate certain planets. That’s not quite three, but it’s more than one!

Two brand-new animals? Fantastic. This game should be ready by the time the Vault Dwellers come out from their Vaults Two Hundred years after the Apocalypse.

Any minute now...
