Hard West is a strategy game that enjoys exploring its Wild West theme. There are strategy elements both in the RPG story segments, as well as the turn-based combat, which keeps the player invested. Unfortunately, too much time is spent outside of the gun-fights, and the RPG elements quickly get repetitive, meaning they end up being more filler than fun.
While Wild West themed games are not as present as they were before, the genre itself is far from being dead. If you're done with Red Dead Redemption 2 and want to try something new, here's 10 underrated Wild West games that are worth trying out, from satirical RPGs to all-out shoot 'em ups.
No mention of Gun or the original Call of Juarez. They were good games in the wild west. I would love for Gun to make a come back.

The Narrative bits in this remind me of Fallen London (also kinda in its themes). It's a shame they get stale after a little while. Still, at least the main gameplay is fun
While it looks like they might have picked a genre and theme out of a hat and made a game from that, it looks pretty well put together. Hope it's as good as the parts that make it up.
