COG Writes: Eiyuu Senki – The World Conquest is a PSN only game for the PS3 that will most likely appeal to the hardcore visual novel and strategy RPG enthusiasts only.
Hardcore Gamer: Eiyuu Senki will make its way to Steam ensuring many more folks can try it out. Then, an 18+ release shall be made available on JAST’s storefront for folks who desire the complete experience.
GR: "If love can bloom on the battlefield, then by God, it can bloom anywhere it damn well pleases. Regardless of race, creed, species, plane of existence, or definition of "alive," your perfect match is waiting for you somewhere in the great cosmos. And when it comes to, shall we say, progressive couples, no one tops the open-minded pairings found in dating sims. Jumping race or social castes is just the beginning; no line is too sacred for these poignant tales of romance. Collected here are dating sims with the courage - and moreover the moxie - to shatter all barriers with the power of pure love (and raging hormones). Whether or not you believe dating sims are purely for pervs, you cannot deny the incredible, atypical affairs of the heart on display in these games. After all, the heart wants what the heart wants."
Michibiku's Graham Russell writes, "Eiyuu Senki: The World Conquest is less than ideal. It’s a PC game wedged onto the PS3 without a full revamp of the interface to cater to gamepad controls. It’s an adult game stripped of its mature elements, but still written and conceived as a project relying on those elements as a selling point. It’s a Japanese game for a Japanese audience, brought to the West by an outfit small and plucky enough to make it work, but without the resources or console experience to iron out translation wonkiness or make interfaces more legible from afar."
Oh my, she really needs to zip up that jumpsuit. lol
I thought PS3 production was done... Guess I was wrong
'Hardcore Visual Novel' is right! Cheese and crackers that's a lot of skin!
I'm not a fan of the battle system here at all. I'd hardly call it tactics.
I do like the representation of different countries and whatnot...at least it's not as "revealing" as Senran Kagura or the like...
