Jo from GamersFTW writes: "It has emerged that, even though it was only released yesterday, the fast-paced and explosive game Just Cause 3 is already encountering some problems. These seem to be more prevalent on the PC but console users have also stated they have had issues with loading times and frame rates."
Some games make up for a lackluster story with excellent gameplay. These are some games with average storylines but great gameplay.
Who decides if a games story is average idefinitely ain't listening to no reviewers. I don't agree with most of then anyway. I think alot of them are to harsh on games so they can get clicks
The pinnacle of bad story but great gameplay is Destiny and Destiny 2. What is the Traveler? What is the Darkness? What the heck is happening? No one knew. But shooting the aliens and robots felt so good.
This week in gaming deals we have Mass Effect Legendary Edition the cheapest it's been so far, along with great deals on other games
Overpowered guns can often ruin the balance of a game but they can also be a ton of fun. Unless you're on the receiving end, of course.
Hopefully they'll rectify the issues soon.
It seems to be the norm these days. I don't blame the developers as they're probably rushed into the release. I'm not sure we can even blame the publishers, as tempting as it may be, because they're just driven by profits.
It's our pre-order culture and acceptance of broken games that is the problem.
I think, it's totally acceptable for games to be delayed in order to iron these problems out. It's all about cash with a lot of these developers and I dont know why the gaming community is settling for it, there should be uproar and people boycotting in order to get it resolved. JC3 aside, Ubisoft is a prime example of this.
Never pre-order huge open world games. It's not a race or competition or even an esport. At least wait a month, but maybe a bit longer than that.
You will never pay more than $48 for a new game at Best Buy with the 20% discount. Plus, it will often be even less there or elsewhere because Amazon will start to cut prices soon after release.
If you are on PC, get your keys from Green Man Gaming for a usual 20-25% off or wait for even larger discounts.
DO NOT PREORDER OR PAY FULL PRICE EVER. AND BE PATIENT FOR REVIEWS AND PATCHES!
