When it comes to futuristic racers, Psygnosis’ WipEout series is the big wheel down at the cracker factory. Sony’s Studio Liverpool née Psygnosis was shuttered in 2012 and the series itself has since slipped from the limelight, but WipEout’s legacy still looms large. Instrumental to the very success of the original PlayStation, WipEout is arguably Psygnosis’ chef-d'oeuvre.
But WipEout wasn’t the only futuristic racing series Psygnosis put its stamp on back in the late ’90s. There was another, with one key difference. This one actually had wheels.

Im playing it now and its fun. Could use more grip, less obstacles immediately after exiting tunnels and more opponents would be great. 8 is a little low for these pretty big tracks and racing at 200+ mph. Look forward to more updates in the future.

Obviously the game is an early working version, but i've been having a blast with the private release so far. Once it releases to early access next year, they'll most definitely have improved it.
