Since the beginning of the current gen we have witnessed many games with high graphics fidelity such as Battlefield 4, Ryse Son of the Rome, Batman Arkham Knight, etc. However, there have been a caveat to these technical advancements and that’s buggy/glitchy and in the worst case scenario broken games. Though I love their games, Bethesda is notorious for those kinds of bugs! I remember Skyrim was inoperable for a little while.
Is that a question or a statement?
For new IPs it's feasible.
For long-running franchises with huge dedicated fan bases, it's near impossible.
By not allowing game these game devs to get a way with it and not allowing certain developers to be excused.
How's about review sites report these bugs in their reviews instead of slapping an 8.5 on every known series, thus giving the consumers a false sense of security that the game will work as intended out of the box. I understand it may be hard to ship a perfect game in this day and age but if the game has significant problems and our only source for opinions on the game before the release date refuses to report issues for whatever reason it's their fault. I really do believe the people that claim sites like IGN get money under the table from certain companies because they rarely point them out in their reviews
