Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "The myth of the philosopher’s stone has often been used as a plot device in media. People are introduced to this legendary object capable of extraordinary things through alchemy, may spend most of the game attempting to learn more about it or acquire it, and have peripheral encounters with it. While most forms of media focus on its ability to grant immortality, resurrect the dead, and transmute metals into gold, many Japanese games choose to focus on its ability to create new, artificial life."
As ports go, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth’s is textbook. A few new quality of life improvements are the defining new feature, but by and large this is the same game that was released well over a decade ago. Fortunately, this is Valkyrie Profile; that means you’re getting a classic JRPG that still feels great to play all these years later.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is a port of a classic Playstation era JRPG, giving a new audience the chance to experience an iconic story.
I got it downloaded but playing some other games atm but I’ll get to it sooner than later
tri-Ace's classic RPG is back! Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is here at last. Read on to see whether this retro RPG is worth exploring.
It wasn’t called a remake so I don’t see why he’s upset about the graphics . I’m happy I can play it on a modern console and not for it to be stuck on PSP .
It's disappointing to see a straight psp port, but the game itself is phenomenal.
Why is he complaining about the graphics? It's a straight port. Not a remake. Sure would be nice to see it have an Odin sphere/dragon's crown graphic update but the game itself is amazing and a classic. One of my favorite jrpgs ever alongside xeno gears, legend of legaia and ff7
the graphics are pretty good for how old the game actually is.
its never been stated that this is a remake. lol.
to complain about something that was never yhere is just odd
merry Christmas:)
