Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a game that embraces the absurd with two giant outstretched tentacles. If the central premise isn’t enough to put a smile across your face, the charming narrative and brilliant script will. The title’s bonkers controls lead themselves to the chaotic slapstick that make up the bulk of the experience and the unpredictable nature of each scenario makes for some brilliant improvised comedy (even if it can be a little frustrating at times).
