NZGamer:
PlayStation VR had a big presence at Paris Games Week 2015. During their press conference, Sony announced a VR version of Tekken 7; a new Gran Turismo Game, Gran Turismo Sport, with VR support; and Robinson: The Journey, a VR game from Crytek with dinosaurs and robots.
It wasn’t just these announcements, though. A big section of PlayStation’s booth on the show floor was dedicated to VR, giving the Parisian public a taste of the likes of RIGS: Mechanized Combat League and VR Playroom, and in a “VR Arcade” in a meeting room tucked away upstairs, PlayStation let the press take some of their newest VR creations for a spin.
I had a chance to give RIGS, Rush of Blood, and Driveclub a go - three very, very different games that come together to paint a nice picture of the diverse line-up of titles PlayStation are working on bringing to PlayStation VR.
VR veteran Survios is currently working on Alien: Rogue Incursion, so we take a look back at its history of VR works.
Cloudhead Games has announced the VOIDSLAYER update for Pistol Whip, adding three new scenes in June for all supported platforms.
Recent findings in the latest PSVR2 software update, indicates that PlayStation is already starting to implement support for PC.
The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
This generation VR could be the next big thing for gaming. If sony can nail the price and bring the right games they can again (PS4) hit the jackpot.
The games seem to be there, the headset seems to be very well build and we just need the price.
Gaming could be on the verge of something really nice. The real first person experience.
Sony will support much this device as it seems. It looks impressive, lets see...
I need this for Drive club and GT sport. Also future 1st person horrors
