Xbox Live Games With Gold For November 2015

For the month of November, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program.

And starting in November all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One, giving Xbox One owners double the free games to play each month. When Xbox One Backward Compatibility begins rolling out on November 12th, play multiplayer with your friends no matter which console they’re on and enjoy Xbox 360 games with the advanced features of your Xbox One, including Game DVR, Screenshots, and in-home streaming to Windows 10.

But they are still Xbox 360 games not Xbox 1 games, I have a bunch of Super Nintendo games on my Wii U virtual machine, I don't consider them Wii U games .

The xbox 360 games are AAA titles that are bigger than 90% of the 2D indie games that would normally be given out on Xbox One and PS4.

@spicelicka....Knight Squad is AAA now? You've got a pretty loose definition of the term apparently. It's hilarious that you posted those screen shots like there was some discernible gap in quality between the two, when visually they are strikingly similar...only difference being that Super Meat Boy is a critically lauded game w/ a steep challenge, it's metacritic sitting at 90 & Knight Squad is a game that would be on absolutely no one's radar if it wasn't included in GWG. Dirt 3 looks like it could be cool, but how quickly will GWG have to start digging into the more niche titles on its 360 offerings considering the BC is limited at this point to a lot of indie level games & early gen AAAs?

At the end of the day, the quality of the titles on offer is all that matters, not the budget spent on them...I'm sure you will be saying the same thing this time next year when GWG moves more towards PS+ in terms of offering more AA & indie titles than old marquee AAAs

So NOW they're "free". Before MS started GwG, all I heard was "they're not free, you're renting them"... now they're "free". It's funny how things change around here.

I will say GwG has been offering better games (IN MY OPINION) for awhile now. I don't mind the indie games at all, but Plus used to offer some better funded (bigger titles). It's always fun to see what we're all getting "FOR FREE" each month now. Like a birthday present every month.

EDIT: Oh, DiRT 3 is pretty fun for those who haven't played it yet. Dungeon Siege is kinda meh.

Yes, but you will be able to play the 2 XBox 360 games on your XBox One. Once they are on your XBox 360, you can just download them onto your XB1 as well and play them on that. So that's 4 games you can play on your XBox One. I think I own Dirt 3. I don't own Dungeon Siege 3 however. I've never even heard of the other XB1 games. Once looks like a Myst puzzle game clone. Meh...

Crap, crap, and more crap. These so called "free" games (which cost you $60 a yr, btw) are all garbage. And I love how fanboys are bragging about getting 4 games for X1 when its really just two X1 games and two 360 games. And on PS4, the Vita and PS3 games often double as PS4 games, meaning that you get either 3 or 4 games you can play on the PS4 every month from PS Plus too (and that's been going on for years now), plus they give you a total of 6 games. But just like GWG, they are also mainly, crap, crap and more crap. But at least you are getting more for your money.

Just FYI, you don't need to own a PS3 or Vita to get cross-platform games from those platforms either. If one of the monthly games is on PS3 but has a version on PS4, you get both versions of the game.

Dirt 3's great, it has a lot more urban environments and a Gymkhana feature to it. Probably best on PC since you can upscale it, but it's still good.

I want digital versions of Mass Effect 2 and 3 please. Plus all games with more than 1 in a series (Gears of War, Halo, etc) for the 360 should be sold as 1.

Man, I hope MS finally gets their shit together and makes it possible to dowload the 360 games directly from my Xbox One.

I hate having to go to my computer, log in to my Xbox Live account, search the entire webpage to hopefully find the spot where the Xbox Live 360 Games for Gold are hidden.

That, and requiring us to have a credit card to download any, including free, Xbox 360 games seems asinine.

Please MS, now that all 360 Games for Gold going forward are backward compatible with the Xbox One, does this request seem all that unreasonable?

I let my psn expire.. And I got like ten games I can't play unless I renew my psn.

But, 4 games a month for my xb1 is sweet.
