Grip looks kinda fun. 600k is a lot of money though. I'm surprised they got as much backing as they did.
The problem is publicising your Kickstarter - I haven't heard of a single Kickstarter mentioned in that article. You might be able to get it mentioned on a few specialist gaming sites and in specific communities, but it's incredibly difficult to break through into the mainstream gaming press unless you're already a well known developer.
