Interesting. I have yet to grab the TTK and I get most of what you described: all of the updates, weapons etc, except for some item specifics geared to TTK.

Basically, year one players that haven't gotten TTK are missing a raid and a new area.

As for North v Dinklage, there is hardly a difference in the original game. Is it better when playing TTK? I don't know, but the original story isn't any more or less explained or well acted.

I have been a fan of the game since launch and have played many hours. But, with the inclusion of microtransactions, I have to wonder where the franchise is going. Consider TTK as a subscription that will be renewed next year too and it becomes obvious that the price of this game is going to take a deep dent out of your wallet.

Actually, non-TTK players got screwed when it comes to PVP as well: they only get 3 sub-sections to choose from (6v6 Team Objective, etc.) while the other 8-ish are locked behind TTK.

'or quit because you gave up on the series, now is the time to get the Taken King.'

Or you quit because they took the piss out of day one players.

TTK on it's own was £40

The Legendary edition with the vanilla game and ALL DLC was £37.

Absolute joke. Though sadly lots have been 'taken' in by it.

They further write that, while Destiny 2 has not delivered as much as it should have on this front, Forsaken appears to be the big step that it needs to return to its greatest moments.

Press Start: Going flawless in Destiny 2 isn't quite as sweet

Gazette gaming columnist Jake Magee's lack of skill at Destiny is what made going flawless in Trials of Osiris more than a year ago taste so sweet. The feeling wasn't as great when he did the same in Destiny 2 last week, he writes.

I wonder if they'll re-review it after completing the 12hr campaign and levelled up to 265

I wrote this review after beating the campaign, reaching 273 power, completing two of the three exotic quests, completing every adventure, playing plenty of Crucible, and much more.

Hi, I wrote this review. I logged 32 days in Destiny 1.

how is destiny 2 a 9.5 while missing many features from the first game, weapon balance issues, lack luster exotics, boring strikes, and no dedicated servers..i like the game a lot for what it offers..but its no where near a 9.5..closer to a 7.5..they didnt add enough for this to even feel like a proper sequel
