I disagreed because I ended up not liking the game. The last of us was too good and it felt like I was taking a huge step backwards trying to play theses games. I couldn't even finish the second game before I got tired of it all.

I couldn't even finish the demo. Doesn't tell you what game you are playing but it is what it is. For PS3's "best franchise" it simply was a reminder why I didn't buy PS3 games save SOCOM Confrontation and SOCOM 4.

Not even close to worth it. I'd be a buyer at $4.99 - better yet, I'd play for a PS+ monthly download, maybe. After playing the generations most incredible shooters this collection falls face first in the mud.

Anyone who hasn't played these games and is into tps adventure games, the answer is a resounding yes, give these games a go!

Anyone who has already played them and thoroughly enjoyed them on ps3, if you don't have a massive backlog (as if such a person exists lol) and have the money to spare, it's definitely worth jumping in again. They've improved so much.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is such a massive improvement. Bluepoint did a fantastic job with all 3 games

If you really don't understand what Bluepoint has done, then you should research what they do in order to remaster a game before spewing your salty hate.

Yeah I haven't played 2 or 3 in the collection yet. Still on 1 atm and it a hell of a lot better. As soon you start seeing through elainas camera at the beginning you can feel the 60fps (actually felt sick for a minute until I got used to it xD).

They bumped the resolution to 1080.
Better assets.
Better lighting.
Better textures.
Bumped fps from 30 to 60.
Reworked the aiming mechanics for all of them.
Changed grenade mechanics so you aren't using the motion controls anymore.
Improved the sound quality.
Added new trophies that are gonna kill me with brutal mode and speed runs!!

Basically they took great games that suffered from some game play issues and completely tidied it up to be a solid package while going above and beyond what most remasters do.

Humongous uncharted fan here, but I still have until dawn, far cry 4, the order, the evil within, and watch dogs to finish so I'll probably let this drop to around 30 before buying it

If you never played them, sure, give it a spin. If you have then skip it, the differences are minimal also with no multiplayer or the vita version kind of makes this an incomplete collection.

Agreed. I have been playing 2 on PS3 followed by 2 on PS4. Shadows, detail, textures, lighting, geometry, have all been improved across all three titles. Drake's Fortune has had the most work.

And that is without mentioning how the 60fps makes the games feel.

That's awesome. I would like a little bit more though added in a collection, especially for games that appeared last gen and are being repackaged and sold back to the consumer.

Drake Collection is great if you never played but retreading down those steps again especially so soon just isn't appealing.

Just curious, do you have & have you played through the collection yet? The lighting upgrades, 1080p & 60fps alone make these the definitive versions of the titles. I've played the ps3 versions roughly a half dozen times a piece & playing through them in this collection has been a nearly new experience for me. Granted I held off on my annual replays for a year or two in anticipation of this collection but I absolutely felt justified with my purchase, moreso than most games I've purchased this gen. The shorter campaigns & the padded open worlds of most other games offer only a fraction of the great gaming content that the UC collection does for my tastes, and I've never played an MP match for UC or any other game so I'm not exactly missing those things. Not sure how many gamers would consider lack of mp a deal breaker for an sp focused franchise like Uncharted. That's basically akin to someone boycotting Rise of the Tomb Raider because they did away with their mp....just doesn't make a whole lot of sense from where I stand.

Not really, since Rise never had an MP and isn't apart of any collection (as of yet). If Rise does re-release say for the PC or PS4 and they take out a mode or level then that would be the same as how I feel about the UC.

U2 and U3 had a great mp and even though you never played many people did and really enjoyed it. So it would have been just as welcomed to see it in this collection in 1080p and possibly 30/60fps with all the definitive's you mentioned also added to the MP portion.

Not to mention the Vita version which I never played would have been a great added bonus.

For me I have no interest in playing through a game with nothing added but a shine. Especially a game that isn't even considered that old or in need of repackaging. There's only one collection I have bought and that was the Rare collection and only because those games are not only decades old but are also pretty hard to find and play now, especially since I don't even have a NES or N64 available.

You are most definitely entitled to your purchase preferences, but there is really no way to make much of a judgment off of this without playing through it. The changes are very impactful to the ultimate experience. I don't dispute that people enjoy the mp for the UC series, but I've still never heard of anyone who bought the series solely to play the mp, unlike something like CoD or Halo that is mp focused, the mp is simply a bonus for most fans and not the main drive behind the love of the series. At the end of the day if it's unappealing to you and no mp is a dealbreaker then that's totally understandable but people who played through and enjoyed the games' campaigns last gen should absolutely give it a shot coming from someone who has actually played through the collection & all of the entries from last gen. The hardcore like myself will get it full price but even if gamers hold off until it gets heavily discounted, it is an absolutely worthy purchase and there really is no downplaying the phenomenal job Bluepoint did on the remaster, keeping the charm of the originals wholly intact while bringing it up to date to make it the best experience possible on current gen.

No,only if you've not played it, some joke the only way to play the UC 4 beta is to buy games I already have.........Well its done but it's still sealed in the box and it won't come out the box till uncharted 4's beta and only to play that. ENOUH with the remasters. if its so good wheres the gta series re red dead or tekken or chrash badicoot etc.

You should really unwrap and see how it has improved. Especially Drake's Fortune. To judge something without playing is incredibly obtuse. Whether you have played them before or not they have made beautiful changes and 60fps makes them all feel far far better.

Someone must not have gotten the memo, GTA V was "remastered" for new gen the year after the first one dropped.

I've never heard anyone make the joke you referenced, so maybe it's an inside one, but it's funnier to me that someone would buy a full priced game solely in order to spend less than a week with an mo beta from a sp campaign focused game that will be out 3 months later in full. This isn't CoD, the campaigns from these games are absolutely as worthy of a replay as it is to replay the same mp map w/ the same people for the 25th time.

I also liked the trophy name on Among Theives blatantly referencing another franchise on a competing console, titled "Master Thief Collection".

60$ is a little to much for this one. However i still think its still worth it they did do an amazing job remastering making it look and feel beautiful. so yea its deff worth it specially if your going to buy part 4.

Tbh I don't mind the price considering it's all 3 campaigns and each of them has had big improvements made to them. Obviously it's not the best remaster for value but it's definitely up there!
And yeah if you're uc 4, it'll be great to have all 4 games in the same place. Shame they didn't include golden abyss. Maybe that can get added in the future as an update.
