I finally played this once I got a PS4 and Metro Redux. I was highly disappointed with how banal it was in comparison to Last Light which was epic. Everything from the story to weapons were so much better in Last Light.

That's what usually happens with sequels.. that and Metro 2033 originally came out in 2010.

Hmm, I find that a bit hard to understand. I think Metro 2033 had at times better atmosphere and it was mostly located in the sewers. Its not that long ago when I played the Last Light on PS3 so I should remember the game pretty well.

Havent played the Redux Last Light yet, havent gotten around. Though I felt that some of the graphical effects (not in quality but in style) and voices in the original 2033 were suprerior to the Redux version.

Worst change is probably the loading time music... before it was somewhat soothing or eerie, now its accelerating and loud (flooding the voice acting)

Metro 2033 is pretty awesome. After playing the games one of my relatives gifted me the book (as I had wished) and Im planning on reading it but... Im just too damn lazy. I havent read proper books completely in years but I do enjoy a good read.

First game I played on a the first PC I built. Maxed out setting, the vsiuals, the atmosphere, and the game was pretty good. Good times...
