Can't wait for this game. Though I noticed the camera at the end of the video, seemed like a bit of a pain.

It's up to Fatal Frame fans to prove to Nintendo; "We also want these story-driven games." By Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 selling underpar, we're telling Nintendo we want the opposite. I'm sure there's a decent amount of Wii U owners (including myself) who feel the same way.

I think there are a good amount of Playstation 4, X-Box owners who would love some of these Nintendo exclusives ... but 300 dollars for a Nintendo adapter is a lot of money for most people.

The majority of gamers are frugal. These's plenty of good deals you can purchase a Wii U for. Nintendo own site offers Wii U's for $200 to $300 (games included, though they're labeled "refurbished," but are in pristine condition).

My second point; why not? Wii U offers so much more than typical consoles. It plays Wii software natively, and is hardware compatible with Wiimotes, Wii Board, and Nunchuck. Online gaming is free, and its of off-TV play feature is amazing. My digital Wii purchases can be uploaded to my Wii U also.

It's a great console limited by negative perceptions.

Which of the many 3rd party adaptors should one buy?

@ marloc_x Which of the many 3rd party adaptors should one buy?

Which ever your friends play on or whichever has the slight edge in exclusives that match your taste.

If you meant that "third party adapter" as a diss ... it's not a good diss considering 90% of the biggest games are third party multiplatform games.

Grand Theft Auto, Fallout, Dark Souls, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, The Witcher, Batman Arkham, Just Cause, Final Fantasy, Destiny, Dragons Age, Metal Gear Solid, Street Fighter, Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, Madden, FiFa, NBA 2K, Need for Speed, Kingdom Hearts etc etc etc.

Third Party games make up the vast majority of the big games every single year.

It's simple math ... one publisher vs a ton of publishers.

I didn't even realize this game was coming out this soon... going to have to try and get it. Slipped right past me.

I have a strong feeling this game is going to scare me into screaming like a Maiden of Golden Water.

I mean that was sort of obvious.
There was literally nothing on this franchise, then they ported Maiden of Black Water likely because it was the easier one to translate to modern devices being a Wii U title and all. And now we are getting a remaster of the 4th title. So it stands to reason that Maiden of Black Water was successful enough to start the whole process.

A remaster of the Fatal Frame 2 remake that was on Wii would be very welcome as well. That game is great. Scared the crap out of me the first time I played it as well lol.
