Destructoid: "So let's get right into the thick of it -- the action. As you'd expect from Platinum Games, Devastation has a sound bedrock, with a combination of ranged and close-combat maneuvers. Basic abilities include trigger-based aiming, a combo system with light and heavy attacks, a super button, and of course, the power to transformer at will into various vehicles."
From Xfire: "It's been estimated that roughly half of the video games ever released on the market can no longer be downloaded or purchased. Whether this is exactly correct is not the point. Rather, we think that either way, the video game industry, as a whole, has done a terrible job at preserving video games and making older titles available to play for future generations."
You can play all of these games still lol. The headline is just misleading. Funny is that there is not one game in the list that you really can't play anymore due to it being online only games.
One you actually legit cannot play AT ALL is Noby Noby Boy. I miss turning my brain off and messing around in that game, was so psyched to re-download it when i rebought a ps3 slim, but you cant, even if it's in your downl library, along with a few other obscure PS3 games i had.
I would replace Transformers Devastation with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron tho.
Transformers Devastation was good but not as good as Fall and War of Cybertron they should be on the list. SH 2 I can play any time I want since it came free in a $10 Xbox I bought used. The Simpsons Arcade I have on my PS3 surprised the Xmen Arcade game is not on this list or the Turtles arcade game either.
In this week's episode of PCP, Emmett, and Al talk about Pokemon Let's Go, Transformers Devastation during the opening segment and then in the main segment focus on the Xbox Series X specs.
While originally only the PlayStation and Steam stores were affected, now all the Transformers games on Xbox One and Xbox 360 have been delisted from the marketplaces.
Legend of Korra has been delisted from all marketplace stores as well. The rights expired with Activision.
You got the touch!
Not convinced, a Transformers brawler? No thanks.
Would take Highmoons games over this anytime...
The game definitely looks like a fan service to Transformer enthusiasts. The only issue that I see with game play is how the robots scale to each other. They make optimus seem like he's an average size robot, when he's really on the big side. Other than that it looks like a different take on the series over what we're use to... Most won't even try the game because of it's cell shaded graphics, even though it looks amazing like a Saturday morning cartoon.
Platinum needs to return to this title and make a longer full fledged G1 game. With more playable characters, more locations and more attacks.
I want Platinum to turn this into a a franchise game.
I want to see the G1 Predacons in action...and I mean the ones that form Predaking not the Beast Warz group!
