"switching to cell shading so late in development is just a move to cover up awful graphics. This game is a joke at full retail price. For $10-15, I might have given it a try. You need to step back and take a look at the game you made, it's much closer to an indie than a $60 title, your game is going to flop, pretty sure everyone sees it coming.

I was always under the impression the scale was based on enjoyment and or quality. I don't remember documents defining the score ratings. To me, a 1 is just simply awful and to be avoided at all costs no matter the specific reason.

I loved the first two games and the Tony Hawk's Underground games as well, but never bothered with anything after those ones. Sad to see this game flop, I had high hopes, but I think it's time for another studio to make a Tony Hawk game.

LoL...why did Activision even bother with this. TONY Hawk is ancient history.Is it me is Activision really only have like 2 franchises left that are of any significant in COD and now Destiny. They need to invest in new IPs. THAT is why I respect EA more than them as at least EA release new and more games every year than Activision.

Soo.. true.. Activision releases a lot of turds nowadays.. They don't invest in new IP's because they are extremely greedy. They know Destiny and COD will sell for them and make them billions of dollars and even then their most popular franchises suck. They need to take that $20 billion they have and invest in some new IP's. I'm not saying EA is an angel or they're any better. Both parties are the greediest when it comes to publishers but at least EA invest's in new IP's..

It freaking sucks what has happened to this franchise especially when you've played and owned the 1 & 2 on the PS1 where it all started. Pro Skater 1 & 2 and Street Sk8ter 2 were the best skateboarding games during the PS1 era.

Honestly don't know how anyone could go for tony hawk after skate was released instantly made TH feel like a ten dollar arcade game. I had never planned to buy it but it would have been nice if it was a little more quality if only to push the skate team to make bigger and better games.

1/10 pretty much is how I feel when I played this game. I'm glad I'm running on a red box rental rather then being out 60 bucks. If this was an arcade release for 10-15 bucks it would have been fine but when I can pop in project 8 and just feels better the I know I have an issue.
