That's nothing to joke about. Bubblizem is a serious condition that effects those from all walks of life.

This was the part where it was good. MGS GOOD, And felt like an mgs game. After this part, when it went open world etc. It just fell fast, my most disappointed game of all time, and I'm an HUGEEE MGS Fan since the first one. One of my favorite franchises ever. I got so disappointed by the new changes. It felt nothing like an mgs game at all :-( so sad to see that this is Kojimas last mgs game aswel. A sad ending to an great franchise <3

d_g3152d ago

Yeah i wish they never went to the open world but.....it still Great game though.

SlightlyRetarted3152d ago

I really like the gameplay, but i agree MGS should have stayed linear. Best and most memorable missions in the game are linear. Hospital, cleaning the infected platform etc. Love the other main missions too, they tickle my stealth simulator urge really well but they just are not very MGS.

I think TPP would have captured the MGS feel better if TPP would have had 35-40 mission areas like Ground Zeroes. Mix of old and new, with more open level desing. Story worked really well in GZ i think.

Zizi3152d ago

I think the open-world improves the gameplay significantly. Nevertheless, side ops feel repetitive.

The game got better looking, that's for sure, it's still not the MGS game I wanted due to lack of story but still was really good.
Now why can't I start a new game without deleting all my saves?? Where is the START NEW GAME OPTION??? How stupid is that?

Baka-akaB3152d ago

Yeah but you can redo every missions , including this one and change stuff you didnt like , like the avatar . So it might not be truly needed

Dario_DC3152d ago

Yeah I know, but right now I don't have Quiet as a buddy and the game is really easy with all the tech I've developed. I really want to start from scratch without losing my last game save.

twiggytree123151d ago

@Dario_DC- Just copy your current save to a USB stick, go to settings and delete the save from system storage and then start a New Game.

When you get tired of playing the new game just repeat the process with the new save and throw your original save back on there if you want to play that one.

Sarah_Ch3152d ago (Edited 3152d ago )

The game was good, but the worst in series.

ThePain13152d ago

the only issue i had with this game was the boss battles, the man on fire ,Quiet and Sahelanthropus were really the only 3 boss battles and although you might have run into them on more than one occasion, I just think it would of been so much cooler to see more boss battles.

Now we'll have to see how much the Master Collection will add to those numbers.

Number1TailzFan194d ago

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Stanjara194d ago

...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.

Minute Man 721194d ago (Edited 194d ago )

Are they counting every game?

Edit: they did

Nyxus194d ago

Yes, these are total lifetime sales of the entire series.

ApocalypseShadow194d ago

.... mostly with the help of PlayStation.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…

Cacabunga210d ago

I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

micdagoat19210d ago

I do wish they would remaster all the soul reavers

micdagoat19210d ago

it was done this morning though

goldwyncq210d ago

The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.

Chocoburger210d ago

This review arrived just in time for launch. Perfect timing!

RupeeHoarder210d ago

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.

YourMommySpoils210d ago

Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.

RupeeHoarder210d ago

It most certainly does not lol.

andy85210d ago

Have you player Cyberpunk since the first day? It's absolutely stunning now

1nsomniac210d ago

One of the worst games ever made. Absolute overhyped trash!

Snowb420210d ago

The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.

Shane Kim210d ago

The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.

KyRo209d ago

The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.

MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
