I am a big fan, a very big fan of this game on old Gameboy. That music is just awesome and I am really excited with the trailer. Day one by me and please give us a western release.

DarkLordMalik3177d ago

Same for me. I am glad that it is not a F2P game like Rise of Mana and it is a budget release :D

This is what makes me so pissed at Capcom. Breath of Fire 6 is the definition of cliche mobile RPG and it doesn't really have anything to do with past games, just races and places. They should have remade one of the past games like the most successful JRPG company has been doing rather than trying to capitalize on using an old franchise title that no one but active fans would recognize for a game entirely different. Square is doing it right with these remakes. Glad that Vita is continuing to get more of these games and support is picking up from the looks of it. Haven't touched mine in months though.

Same here, really hope it is getting a western release, but if there is one old game boy square game that deserves to be ported to the consoles and PC as well its this one , hope its getting ports later

Looks decent actually. If they bother to take advantage of the Vita's controls I'd definitely play it

gokuking3177d ago

It will support Vita's physical controls!

Spotie3177d ago

Never got to play the first one. I'll be looking forward to this.

madcowzz3177d ago

Sweet. I never got a chance to play this, mainly because it's really difficult to find now, but I'll definitely be getting this. Maybe if this is successful they'll release the Final Fantasy Legend trilogy or Mystic Quest?

Beetey3177d ago

Hopefully you can just buy the game and it won't be based on microtransactions.

gokuking3177d ago

You will be able to. It's a $15 digital game.

Game Boy Game Prices Are Through the Roof (And Trending Higher)

The average cost of Game Boy games has been steadily rising for years. If you look at the overall price growth, which has doubled within the last five years, then it should be pretty clear Game Boy game prices are following the trend of increasing retro video game prices.

You would have to be crazy to keep a Pokemon game in the box after getting it as a kid, though.

RavenWolfx965d ago

I still have my Final Fantasy Adventure and Zelda: Link's Awakening, but loose. I haven't had the box in... I don't know, a couple decades?

Cruel Fate Makes for Good Gaming in Final Fantasy Adventure

Final Fantasy Adventure will always be remembered as the game that started the Mana series, a blend of traditional RPG elements and real-time action, with towns to explore, dungeons to conquer, and a variety of useful weapons, but its overriding sense of the melancholy and tragic aspects of honor will always strike a harsh chord with those who enjoy picking up a sword to save a world that they themselves will never be allowed to enjoy.

"its overriding sense of the melancholy and tragic aspects of honor will always strike a harsh chord with those who enjoy picking up a sword to save a world that they themselves will never be allowed to enjoy."

I really don't understand this line... How do these even correlate at all? It's not like these two aspects contradict one another.

PR groups assigned to selling a title often have no idea what the game they're selling is about. Hence the vomited nonsense.
