Nordic acquires Nexus: The Jupiter Incident IP

Publisher Nordic Games has acquired the IP for tactical space-RTS series Nexus from HD Publishing. Only one game has been released under that name, 2004's well-received Nexus: The Jupiter Incident.

Yet, somehow, a game broke the mold to bring us space as we had truly never seen it before: Nexus – The Jupiter Incident, was born."

Arparso is a mod team that loves Volition’s baby as much as you. So they made a mod for ‘Nexus: The Jupiter Incident’ that is called “FreeSpace: Evolution”. ‘FreeSpace: Evolution’ is basically a real-time strategy game that takes place in FreeSpace’s realm and aims to bring the frantic non-stop action of the original games to the tactical realm of a real-time-strategy game..."
