Here’s Every Unlock a Ground Zeroes Transfer Gives You in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

You may have forgotten, but The Phantom Pain is actually the second Metal Gear Solid V. The first one, Ground Zeroes, served as a sort of extended demo to the new experience Kojima and company were creating. But serving as a taste wasn’t all that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was good for, it also triggers quite a few unlocks for The Phantom Pain, provided that you meet certain requirements.

lol, that sucks. I had a feeling they would do something with the dates so I just set it to the first, if you could do years I would of course put 1935. I mean they are saying Big Boss lost his memory....I sure didn't lol

I was hoping for something a little more substantial from the linkage between MGS V Ground Zeroes and MGS V The Phantom Pain save datas, like exclusive weapons and whatnot. Oh well.
It's unfortunate that I don't own GZ yet, because the release of TPP seems to have caused the price of the introductory game to get bumped up. It used to be possible to get it at under 15€, and it's now almost impossible to get it at less than 30€, aaand I would like to avoid the digital version if possible since I'm always after physical copies when it comes to games. What to do... :(

Will this unlock David Hayter as big boss? Because it sure as hell doesn't feel like metal gear without him....great game bit doesn't have that feel :(

It feels just fine without him, Big Boss is not Solid Snake...should not be voiced by the person that plays Solid Snake.

So have him in MGS4 talk to himself? Yet Liquid and Solidus sound different?

What if they do a remake of MGS1, so have him talking to someone that sound like him? LOL! Really now, he should have never been the voice of Big Boss in MGS3 and Peace Walker.

They should have just got someone else.

If Sonny or Raiden become the main characters you want them being voiced by Hayter too? lol

Please...please consider what happens at the ending of MGSV....MG1 is the next step. They can't have him sounding JUST LIKE Solid Snake...someone he is about to recruit on a mission lol

@SolidStateSnake- it feels JUST like a MGS, as someone thats played the whole series and recently just played the ENTIRE series again, MGSV feels very much like a MGS game and BETTER then any MGS game to date.

To dislike it being more open, oh so make the same areas but smaller? Make lessor? Oh have less options you say?

Consider they are just areas that you would have been doing the same with in another MGS game, but with more options on how you tackle a mission it opens up much more creativity then in the past MGS games.

ie you could wait til night when less guards are out, wait till it rains and some of them go inside, wait til a sand storm hits and you could move with NVG on past certain areas, you could call a helicopter for support to carry someone out etc, etc. It opens up sooooo many ways to beat an area much more then past MGS games.

Could you not just go in it like you did in the past? The game is not forcing you to even use those features. Did you not traverse the jungle many times in MGS3? You didn't just end up in small levels, you had to travel in a path to get to the main areas in MGS3, this is a much more open concept then what was in MGS3. As someone who owns every MGS, has played them religiously over the years and this past month....this is the most MGS game to release ever, its very, very MGS. The idea behind this game is much more Metal Gear then even the older Metal gears lol

Theres a few bits missing on that page, you can get the pixelated grey fox skin and a golden prosthetic arm ...for the grey fox skin ...just complete the deja vu mission in ground zeros (on Hard difficulty) and then transfer your save again and you should be good. i'd say there's probably a few more treats to be found also that have not yet been discovered. :)

Yet he did voice big boss. Also something I never understood from people like you that argue he shouldn't sound the same since he is a different person is the fact he LOOKS the same!! How come you don't want a different face on big boss too? Explain that one to me please. Besides they are clones so it would not be out of this world for them to sound the same (as "imperfect" of a clone as snake may be...
