EGMR writes: "It’s just another day in the gaming industry and another publisher is finding out whether they can take pre-order manipulations and stupidity to a new level. This time it’s Square Enix with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, a game that was bringing joy to many gamers’ lives, and now is causing us all to raise our pitchforks."
The Epic Games Store has a new free game, and they want to augment your life with it.
GF365: "Here are our picks for the eight best sci-fi RPGs. Science fiction is a great genre for any medium of entertainment. These games are the best in the genre."
The og deus ex is magical. Im also very exited about mass effect legendary edition from the gp. Its next on my playlist never played mass effect game before.
Why aren't there more? A Star Trek RPG for one. Or something with non humanoid aliens?
I really hope Naughty Dog is doing a Sci-Fi game. As a lover all most things RPG I would love to see Naughty Dog quality in an RPG.
Mary DeMarle led narrative on modern Deus Ex games and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Hopefully it's for lead writer on Mass effect. But that would mean it's way off.
Regardless...i mostly loved Guardians for the story so it's a good get from Bioware.
I wonder if Embracer group is slimming down Crystal Dynamics...
Well Bioware has fallen so far off, its finally good to see them getting some talent where they need it most. First order of business: FIX MASS EFFECT story....immediately
"As expected the campaign was met with huge negative backlash from fans, who decided to augment Square Enix’s promotional video for the announcement with a ton of dislikes."
LOL
This is one of the most schemeiest schemes ever schemed.
Really hope they cancel the entire thing, not the game obviously, just the pre-order garbage, still, the game itself looks amazing.
This is the DUMBEST Pre-order scheme that I've EVER seen!!
Just watch Totalbiscuit's video on this and you'll see why everyone hates it...
Wow.
I can not believe i just read that nonsense, are you kidding me? Much to do about nothing...
Really? Preorder bonuses? I do not see this as a microcosm of the big budget gaming industry or somehow taking advantage of the poor indie guys by stealing their kickstarter stretch goal idea. I have no problem with this and i actually think it's kind of interesting how u will potentially get better preorder bonuses the more ppl that preorder. It's a little dumb but in no way is it offensive to me.
If anything i think there was some merit to the criticism ofThe Missing Link DLC from Human Revolution, but not this.
Watched Totalbiscuit's opinion on this and had to disagree. The developers have no obligation to regulate the cost of their product. If you feel like you're being ripped off don't buy it, the price goes down on games anyways.
