Resident Evil: Origins Collection Revealed, Wesker Mode added to Resident Evil 0

Capcom has just announced that there will be a physical collection of the stories that started the nightmare that is Resident Evil for the current generation. The HD remasters of both Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 will be released together physically, an answer to those waiting to get these games on an actual disc. Sold together for $39.99 MSRP, the Resident Evil: Origins Collection will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and it will release on January 19th, 2016. It should be noted that this is not a reveal for the digital release date of Resident Evil 0 HD as that is slated sometime in early 2016.

I wonder why no Wii U Version ?

bouzebbal3188d ago

could have been superior version with menu on the gamepad.. but business is business, it won't have sold.

MooseyXTC3188d ago

The game from your avatar didn't get one either and I really don't get why.
Using the little girl on the gamepad to point at things for Barry or Moira's flashlight would have been nice.

Helll yes day one freaking buy

Majin-vegeta3188d ago

Yea me 2.This was my only gripe with them being released.I prefer my physical thank you very much

We seem to be in the minority now sadly. I prefure going out and buying my games physically. Not sure why I even enjoy the going and getting them part but I do.

I don't have the issue but a few friends still live in rural areas with shit Internet. So it makes it a lot harder in that situation to go all digital.

This is too perfect, just the right price!

LightofDarkness3188d ago

Wesker mode doesn't make any sense. He didn't have any of those abilities prior to the events in the Spencer Mansion, which occurred after the events of RE0. But I'm sure it'll be fun.

gantarat3188d ago

Its play for fun mode (non canon).

fastNslowww3188d ago

Why the shitty RE6 wesker look and NOT the in games one?

gantarat3188d ago (Edited 3188d ago )

Wesker from RE 5.

yeah i meant 5....whoops.

Looking Back to 2016 with the Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster - Origins of Evil

Darren writes: "I view Resident Evil Zero and the 2016 Remaster as a bit of an oddity in the series, the black sheep if you will. It tried something a bit different, and in the end did so with limited success."

everything about the game is great except for the inventory system. You literally spend half the game managing your inventory. And You have to leave your stuff like on the floor and remember where you put it. It's nothing like the inventory in any other resident Evil game It's cumbersome and highly annoying.
If you can get past that it's a cool game with gorgeous graphics

NapalmSanctuary1220d ago

yeah, the inventory system just destroys the game's flow. Especially on the first playthrough where you don't know what you're going to need to keep close by in any given area.

AriesBear1219d ago

It's all trial and error but pushed to the limit. That's literally the only thing that holds the game back. But damn it is beautiful.
