Skylanders Superchargers racing is PS4 & Xbox One's Mario Kart we've always wanted - Examiner

The gaming industry will most likely never see Mario Kart released for the PS4 and Xbox One, but Activision is delivering the next best thing, Skylanders Superchargers online racing.

I actually really enjoyed Mod Nation Racers and LBP Karting. Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed is also excellent.

I LOVED Modnation Racers. Even without accounting for the creation tools, the gameplay itself and the tracks already included on the game were amazing. I honestly liked it more than any Mario Kart released up to that point back then, which is saying something.

Sadly, the atrocious loading times killed the game for me, even after the patch. Waiting 45 seconds or even a whole minute for a race to start was just unforgivable, and in the end I abandoned the game because of that.

I wish Sony gave ModNation Racers another chance on the PS4, and took advantage of the extra power not to beef up the graphics, but to improve the performance so that it can keep all the creation tools but load the stages decently. It would be a winner in my book, and a serious contender for Mario Kart 8.

SEGA All Stars Transformed did that and is one of the best Kart racers ever. My personal fave even tho I am not good enough to unlock AGES :(

The article might want to point out that donkey Kong and bowser are only in the Wii u and 3ds versions

Not sure why that matters when talking about the PS4 and XB1 versions of the game.
