GamingLives takes a look at Hipster Whale's isometric take on the Namco classic.
"As much as Pac-Man 256 is a bit of a one-trick pony, it’s such a good title. The gameplay is addictive with slick touchscreen controls which, for once, don’t get in the way of the retro-gaming fun and the isometric graphics look even nicer than they did in Crossy Road. Admittedly, sometimes you can just get a bit unlucky with how the ghosts are randomly placed but it’s not too much of an issue and, for the most part, your deaths are usually you’re own stupid fault. And with this much fun available for free, you can’t really go wrong."
The Humble Best of Bandai Namco Bundle just launched. It features games like Code Vein, Project Cars 3, and Tekken 7, and more. A percentage goes to support charity.
Neil writes: "Bored of Yakuza already? Had enough of Watch Dogs Legion? Done with DIRT 5? You'll want to get involved in the latest set of discounted Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles like those found in the Deals With Gold Sale. Fully playable across Xbox Series X|S as well, checking out the lists of cut-price games is a great way of filling your digital library. And the sale for 17th-23rd November 2020 ain't a bad one either."
The Humble Bandai Namco Bundle 4 is out now. It features games like Katamari Damacy Reroll, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, Pac-Man 256, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West Premium Edition, and more.
