Short Pause: "Beyond Eyes is one of those games that stands out to me in a crowd. Its debut trailer at Microsoft's 2015 E3 briefing showed us an artistically beautiful game that was aiming to take us on a journey through the eyes of a blind little girl. I was immediately hooked, eagerly awaiting more news on when I'd get the chance to experience this game. That moment has come and, boy, were my expectations just completely shattered (and far from “in a good way”). While the game has a unique art style, sadly, this is the only pleasant thing Beyond Eyes brings to the table. From the poorly told story to the dreadfully dull gameplay, Beyond Eyes is an unfortunate failure."
Painterly adventure game Beyond Eyes will soon be delisted from digital storefronts due to a dispute between the dev and publisher Team17.
That's nice, you can just torrent the PC version it's still up with seeds 😀 You can delist anything you want don't care I can always get it and keep it forever 🤣
A shame, I have it on PS4, so I can always re-download it. But this is another reason why the "all digital future" is going to be awful. Disputes and licenses running out is bad for gaming preservation. And so really the only option in the future is piracy. Sucks it has to be that way, but that's the way it goes.

Ouch, this score hurts me to see! When the trailer dropped for this at E3 you could feel the buzz in the crowd honestly. People were murmuring 'Unfinished Swan with color' and what not. Shame to see it's such a bore.
I wish some of these "walking simulator" games would add more substance to their games! A lot of them are beautiful looking games, but as we know, beauty is only skin deep. Shoddy stories, pacing issues, and lousy controls really bring these games down hard and fast. Games like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, even though those are slow-moving adventure games as well, at least they have the substance to keep you engaged instead of checking your watch.
Damn. I would've thought this would be a hit.
Shame.
I knew this would be trash when I saw it E3. I was on twitch and a guy had just started the game for the first time. He was waiting for a few people to get in the room so him and his viewers could see the game together for the first time. He started and it was hopeful for the first 20 min. Then out of nowhere he says, "im sorry. I can't do this anymore. What the hell did I just waste my money on." I almost died laughing. The whole 20 minutes before eruption you could hear his voice go from whimsical to hopeful to truly and deeply disappointed. He goes on to rant for about 5 minutes and changes to Titanfall. Playstation gamers laugh it up while you can. Someone on the PS4 will be having a psychological breakdown soon because I hear this sanity eater is coming to a console near you. At E3 they said coming FIRST to Xbox One. First has come and gone...
