Timothy J. Seppala says..
"So after a lawsuit, countless delays, and a game engine redesign, a demo for Silicon Knights' Too Human is finally in my hands. After spending a fair bit of time with it, a play through with the three character classes available initially, I am comfortable in saying a few things:"
The action-RPG by now-defunct Silicon Knights is now free for Xbox gamers! Check out the Too Human free direct download link with armor sets here.
Fun fact: I'm one of five people to have completed Too Human and actually liked it. It should be noted that the other four ended up in mental institutions....sadly.
I liked this game. It has it's flaws but the story and mechanics are pretty good. It still holds up today.
He worked in the game industry since the early ‘90s
Oh sad to say not that familiar with this man's work but RIP to this individual, his music must have been amazing.
Very sad news, I really enjoy the Eternal Darkness and Blood Omen soundtracks, masterpieces.
i liked it. fanboys can hate, the media can hate, everybody can hate, but what i played was a solid addicting game. it has a learning curve, but once you get the hang of things, its a very fun game. i could easily see this game scoring in 8-9 range
EDIT: nickel i see your point, its either going to be a hit or miss kind of game. i personally loved the demo.
I like how he points out all the flaws, and then the final thoughs are
(With all that being said though, I can't wait to get my hands on the final version. The loot system and weapon/armor upgrades system are incredibly deep and the story has definitely caught my attention. I'm sure that after the first half hour or so I will get fully used to the controls and camera.)
will be fun, maybe it wont be one of the best but telling from the demo it will be extremely fun.
defender FTW!
think the fanboys are the ones doing all of the hating. the Sony fanboys aren't the ones that played the demo and they were the ones that started this whole issue of Too Human not being all of what it was cracked up to be. If anyone did any hating it was the people that played the demo. Sony fans probably just followed along like any fanboy would do.
I didn't play the demo for too long but I had some fun with it.
