An old game that has been a proper remaster with new textures, added sound, dedicated servers now, 60fps and 1080p and extra content!

Heck, the game even has updated and modernized game mechanics!

That is a lot more than I can say for other remasters that are just a plain port.

Gears of War: UE being on another platform doesn't take away my enjoyment, that clearly affects you!

What records? Will it break sales records for a remaster on xbone? Probably not. If u want next gen remasters u should've gone with PS4, God of War 3 Re released a month earlier and it's only half as old as gears 1.

What i don't understand is if xbone has bc then why are they making remasters? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Too bad i don't live in Australia those skins are neat.

That is the stupidest comment I heard in a long time. God of wAr 3 isn't a remaster, it is a cheap port!

Nothing was done to the game, not even a texture was touched. It literally was just ported over to the PS4. All it God of War 3 did, is work on the PS4. Congrats!

Compare that to Gears of War: UE that had:

* reworked textures & sound
* newly redone cinematics
* 60 fps & 1080p
* dedicated servers
* added content not in the original Xbox 360 version
* newly reworked game mechanics and re-balancing of multiplayer
* all maps included

That is how you do a remaster!

God of War 3 is a port that Sony called a remaster to pull the wool over people's eyes, but some fans don't even need the wool over their eyes.

Heck, Uncharted Trilogy doesn't even include the multiplayer portion and is likely just another port they call remaster.

At least Horde mode wasn't in the original Gears of War, so it makes no sense to add something that wasn't there!

Ummm God of War 3 Remaster was upped to 1080p 60fps as well lol. The original GoW 3 was 720p 30fps so ur wrong friend. Also, there was improved textures on the Remaster and dynamic lighting was added, anti aliasing, grfx filter, new weapon, GoW 1 & 2 on PS Now and a PS4 theme were included. A photomode was included as well. Do some research. Switching weapons on the fly was made way easier.
