That is a great question. My guess they will farm their properties out to different developers until eventually they will come back to Kojima, hat in hand and have him bring the series back to its quirky self OR we might get pleasantly surprised by another developer and they may give us the best MSG ever.
Its all unknown. Big question mark.
What we do know, is that this one, Number V is Kojima's last one.

Metal Gear requires a lot of resources to produce on Kojima level of expectations.
I would like for him to continue the work on MGS series since I have been a fan of his work for over 15 years, however:
Maybe now he can branch out and create new series, unless Konami asked Kojima to oversee the future MGS projects which I am almost positive Konami will try and milk for the name sake alone.
Without us knowing just what happened between him and Konami Metal Gear Solid series at this time are solely in the hands of Konami, that can be either good or bad. We will find out eventually, for me personally, Konami has to meet or exceed what Mr. Kojima had created for me to even consider purchasing MGS in future which I doubt will happen.
Phantom Pain is Kojima's latest and greatest and it's in my pre-order bin already.
