So these previews are not of final build and going off this guys comments that Nintendo don't release games unless there polished could mean that Nintendo will show us a final build in August with texture/framerate fixed,in fact just a week ago Nintendo said they will show us more of the game soon.

The graphics to me look top notch I've been pausing it and looking at the graphics ect in this unfinished build and they look great end of and the Online will prob look better.

I wanted this SOOO bad when it was first announced then after years of no updates they announced wii U exclusive, lost my interest. That was when I actually HAD a Wii U too. No that I sold it I'm just oing to wait ad forget about it again till it comes to the intended consoles

stragomccloud3219d ago

You mean PS3 and Xbox 360? Also, you realize Nintendo paid for the resurrection, right?

It is sad you sold the console. Any real gamer has a Nintendo console.

rdgneoz33219d ago (Edited 3219d ago )

@stragom. You realize how much money THQ spent on the game, right? Before they went under, Itagaki basically said he could have made all 30 of his previous games with the budget... The game should have been done with the amount of money sunk into it before Nintendo "paid to resurrect it"...

Also, if any real gamer wants to play some top multiplats they'd need an xbone or ps4, since those never come to the wiiu...

XisThatKid3219d ago

@stRagomccloud
I guess I'm not gamer I'll just settle for my NES GameCube and Wii I still have.
I'm just WTF I want to be a sell and buy what ever I want person that has fun and entertain myself how ever I want. I guess I'm not Shiip I have to follow ones rules.
I should have traded in my Wii U for some more F###s to give away cuz for you sir, I have none.
And yes I mean those systems considering I have them too.
And why would that be sad?

Angeljuice3219d ago

@gameboy1

There is no way the graphics can be legitimately called "top notch", but they look serviceable.
Of course it will be polished before release.

gameboy13219d ago

Well its my opinion and i think there top notch with a little more work....

gameboy13220d ago (Edited 3220d ago )

Every game has poor textures here and there COD is king for it,I mean from what I've seen the textures in Devils Third look awesome very good the clothes textures the skin textures ect look great Ivan looks very detailed you compare him to any main chaacter in any game and you will find he is very detailed the ears are the best I've seen and the tatoo's kill Blackops2 ???

Angeljuice3219d ago

Wow, do you ever play on anything other than Nintendo consoles? The graphics are 5-10 years outdated in terms of character detail, textures etc.
The game isn't bad looking, but your comments are a bit misguided.

deafdani3219d ago

Only a bit? He's the most deluded fanboy I've ever seen on this site, which is saying something. He truly believes that the Wii U is more powerful than PS4... I kid you not.

I don't understand how in the hell does he have 9 bubbles, with his comment history. He should have only 1, to be honest.

I checked your comment history, but you clearly didn't check mine. The majority of my posting activity is done in Nintendo-related articles, and not in trolling ways, far from it. They're my favorite company. But I don't give them a free pass for everything, or even go as far as saying that they do everything better than the other companies - They don't, they have their pros and cons.

And yes, the PS4 is much more powerful than the Wii U, and saying otherwise is madness. True, a lot of games on the PS4 release as buggy messes, but the fault for that lies on the developers/publishers of the games themselves, not the hardware it's on.

But if you want to stick to that absurd argument, let me just point to you the countless third party shitty ports on the Wii U that didn't even manage to match the levels of the Xbox 360 / PS3 counterparts. Are they indicative of the Wii U's power? Of course not. Same applies with buggy games on the PS4.

>_>

gameboy13220d ago

I'm sure nintendo have a devision that smooth out bugs ect before release...

XisThatKid3220d ago

Yea almost every game goes through QA but this can still get shipped like this.

gameboy13219d ago

This preview of the campaign says its fun with a few rough edges lets wait for the final build and the Online...

MilkMan3220d ago

It was always on my day one list. Thanks for the impression.

PlatinumGX3220d ago

From what I've read in different previews, it all comes down to frame rate problems, which hopefully are fixed before release.

Just waiting for that release date now.

Zelda Replay: Majora's Mask

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."

Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.

FinalFantasyFanatic10d ago

Back when video rental was a thing, I rented out Majoria's Mask, I never finished it though. I did buy the 3DS version before the eshop shutdown, so maybe one day I'll finally play through the whole thing, it's amazing how well these games hold up though. I briefly played Ocarina of Time for a while and it was really fun.

Wii U games that still haven't been ported to Switch

The Nintendo Switch is potentially nearing its lifespan, and several Wii U games haven't found their way over as ports yet.

I think it's better to leave games like AC: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash forgotten on the Wii U. Best case, they are mediocre games; worse case, they are very bad. It was a dark time for the Wii U, and the first only exists to sell Amiibo cards, whereas the second was put together in a couple of months with a shoestring budget, and it shows.

The rest of the list does have some really cool games, though. I would love to see a remake of Star Fox Zero with decent controls, and Xenoblade X doesn't require that much modification to work.

How would XCX work without dual screens functionality?

Cacabunga18d ago

Same as Paper Mario color splash. One of the best wiiu games and getting even better with dual screen. Same reason why i prefer Splatoon 1

Profchaos18d ago

This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.

Stevonidas17d ago

Devil's Third is HIGHLY underrated.

repsahj17d ago

They should remake Starfox to the switch 2. Very beautiful game during gamecube days.

Chocoburger17d ago

Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.

Nintendo's Massacre Of The 3DS And Wii U Is Finally Complete, Regrettably

Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
