PCs Can’t Handle 2 Goats, Playstation Can, Says Goat Simulator Creator

Double Eleven and Coffee Stain Studios have just announced that the absolute sublime, life-changingly awesome Goat Simulator will be heading to Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.

But that’s not all the Goat Simulator creator had to say.

Consider that they left the PC version still in a buggy state so that you can buy the supposedly superior console version. The money PC gamers threw at their version is being used to make a better version for consoles.

It's ironic that Coffee Stain can get away with selling a still buggy game to great acclaim while Rocksteady have to pull out their game from a whole demographic of gamers to fix it. I mean just look at the article- they practically used the PC bugs and glitches as promotional features for the console version.

Methinks you do not get satire. That whole "buggy state" is purely intentional. It's how the game is intended to work. The PS4 will be just as buggy as the PC version.

Note to everyone: They should've put the satire tag or warning just as the article or post is put up, not long after people have voiced their reactive opinions. Some people may caught on the satire from the very beginning, some don't.

I was in the middle because I am aware that Coffee Stain did made Goat Simulator as a satire but couldn't be so sure and earlier there wasn't any big warning sign telling me of satire like the one that pop up in this reply. "Before you jump on..." might be little bit too late with that advice.

It does raise a point, though: perhaps we shouldn't be giving them any more money if they can get away and be praised for selling another buggy game because they're making "satire" while other devs are hounded for doing the same.

We're sending a mixed message to devs, here: make a buggy game, we're going to burn them on the stakes. Slap "satire" on their buggy game, we'll praise them to no ends.

I actually do this when ever I turn on my PS4. Am sorry but this sort of thing is rubbish in my opinion. It is like a really poor mans PAIN that was released on the PS3 years ago.

I think the number of goats a pc can do is more dependent on the hardware spec of the pc rather than ps4 over a pc.

A pc with 32 gb of ddr5 ram, the latest ATI video card and a high end i7 can run circles around the ps4.
