You may recall a lengthy Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain gameplay demo rolled out during E3 last month. It's hard to convey the series' focus on freedom in a single playthrough, though, so Hideo Kojima has released another video of the same mission, played out in a different way. Don't worry though: there are still horses and cardboard boxes.
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
I didn't think I would ever say this but.... MGSPP is a little to ridiculous with that bionic arm lol. thats just crazy. There must be a lot of pain and despair in this installment because it seems kojima wanted to balance that out with quirky and ridiculous ways to finish a mission. Less then 2 months away! Can't freakin wait!
Neat trick with the sleep grenade.
Man, the textures in the Menu vs the actual gameplay are drastically different. The non gameplay textures are outstanding. Still impressive though.
Edit: before anyone starts. No I'm not bashing the game. The in game textures look great, especially considering the engine has to render more than the inside of a chopper. It's just that the transition caught me off guard with Snakes textures. Great looking game.
Please tell me that's not Playstation 4 gameplay....
Man i wish i could play these games but i suck :(
I wasnt even able to beat the first mission on ground zeroes
On MGS4 i got a little further but still, stealth games are too hard for me
