Today Aquaplus released a brand new TV commercial for Utawarerumono: False Mask, the latest chapter of the popular JRPG/visual novel hybrid series, slated for a Septmber 24th release in Japan for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
Utawarerumono: False Mask, which has been on sale in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita since Thursday, September 24, has surpassed 100,000 shipments, Aquaplus president Naoya Shimokawa confirmed.
Shimokawa has requested a commemorative illustration from Utawarerumono character designer Itsuki Kanro, and will likely tweet it out once it’s finished.
Aquaplus just released five new gameplay videos of Utawarerumono: False Mask, that just released today in Japan for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
Aquaplus has released the first in a series of Utawarerumono: False Mask videos featuring the voice cast playing the game.
In the first video, Risa Taneda (who plays Kuon), Inori Minase (Nekone), and Kentaro Tone (Ukon) play through about 22 minutes of the PlayStation 4 version.
Utawarerumono: False Mask is a visual novel and strategy RPG hybrid. It’s due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan on September 24.
Oh wow, the series is still popular even after 9 years? I saw it back then, it was really good, but I didn't expect it to be that popular to warrant a game so late.
