EB: There may be plenty of new video game releases this week, but that doesn’t mean any of them are solid enough to warrant a purchase. In fact, there’s not a single title that screams “MUST PLAY,” rather this week’s new releases are an eclectic mix of PC titles and Japanese-centric games for Sony’s gaming platforms. This is definitely one of those weeks to work through your backlog, although, Rise of Incarnates looks pretty cool if you really need to part ways with some green this week.
Karan writes- "The modern fighting game scene has been plagued by saturation, microtransactions, terrible business models and a lack of creativity. Which is a shame, but also the perfect excuse for you to look back in time a bit, and experience some of the classics of the genre in all their glory. The steam sale is the perfect occasion for you to binge-purchase some true masterpieces — games that will help you rediscover your love of the genre, or make you a fan if you already weren’t one."
Amazon has discounted the physical versions of several Vita games to below $20, including Akiba's Beat, Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND, Drive Girls, Tokyo Tattoo Girls and Zero Time Dilemma.
