I hope their game will be more optimized this time around.

gamernova3252d ago

Optimized for what? I can only speak for the PC version when I say that it played absolutely flawless on my system and that is a huge statement considering this is a Ubisoft game and they aren't exactly known for optimized experiences. Stick of truth was so damn funny, definitely getting this one day one as well. Their DLC was amazing too...the non-existing one! The only thing was the pre-order bonus but Trey and Matt kept their promise to keep DLC off and I hope they continue.

No issues on my pc either.

freshslicepizza3252d ago

the game ran very well on computers and it didn't need powerful rigs either. awesome game and can't wait for the next one.

I adored Stick of Truth, and this game will be great. It was a very solid turn-based JRPG just rammed right up the asshole of your favorite Southpark memories. Just like you always dreamed.

I really hope The Stick Of Truth makes the list for Xbox One backwards compatability, I loved it but I have to swap HDMI cords to hook up my 360 to play all the time.

The Fractured But Whole looks just as good, can't wait to play it. Really, i'm serious, can't wait, please set a reasonable release date and don't delay it Professor Chaos.

Just from the title alone, you know it'll be of the highest quality. Ahhh South Park quality... It's like diving into the dumpster of society. I love every minute of it.

We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.

They said awhile ago that Ubisoft holds contract rights to the main flagship South Park games. So like stick, fractured and phone destroyer.

Snow Day was handled by THQ and Question and is a random spinoff. Hopefully Ubisoft is cooking something.

anast46d ago

That's one reason to be hopeful, but Ubi is trending down too.

Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.

The 7 Best South Park Games

The South Park series has somehow managed to stay relevant for over 25 years, but which are the best games based on the TV show?

cammers1995153d ago (Edited 153d ago )

The only two worth playing are Stick of truth and fractured but whole. The rest were garbage except snow day which I can't say anything about yet. But with that said, unlike stick and fractured which debuted as AAA full priced titles by ubisoft, snow day is a new developer and publisher and has a budget price at only $30 soooo

I see Deadpool made the list. Also saw it in stock at the local game store. Second hand. Might finally pick up a copy.
