Before everything went crazy for the blue blur Sonic had humble beginning on the Genesis/Megadrive, giving Sega a face for the 90s console wars.
But is the original game actually any good? Does it deserve to be played today, or should it be left for history to study as the birth place of a now only average mascot for a company now long behind its console making days?
