Christopher Lee in Kingdom Hearts - Friday Facts

TheArabGamer writes: "Today I would like to introduce Friday Facts where every Friday I talk about a specific video game fact that some of you may not have heard of.

My first episode is dedicated to the legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee who was known for his most recent roles as Saruman from The Lord of The Rings and Count Dooku. But did you also know he also played an important role in the Kingdom Hearts series?"

First Robin Williams then Leonard Nimoy then Christopher Lee. Thats a damn shame, may they Rest In Peace.

I am worried about Kingdom Hearts 3! Two of the most iconic and important voices of the series and (for KH3) just died! How are they supposed to replace Leonard Nimroy? and now Christopher Lee?. Both characters are going to play a very important role in the 3rd game!

Considering he was voicing Ansem and that Ansem is dead, unless he appears in a flashback, he isn't needed.

Xehanort is possessing Tera's body and that's not the same voice either. The only way Xehanort would appear is if Tera reclaim his body, which is expected to happen along with Aqua coming back and Ventus waking up.

The really big loss is Robin Williams as the genie.

They really should hurry this game along before someone else voicing an important character die.

Robin Williams hasn't voiced the genie for a long time. I don't think he even voiced the genie in any Kingdom Hearts. As far as I know, Robin Williams only voiced the genie in Aladdin. All other movies/games/spin offs was another actor.

Well, of course Terra has to reclaim his body. I hope they find some kind of imitator to voice Xehanort. Leonard Nimroy's voice is very unique.

umm...Xehanort the old one is voiced by Nimoy and he is in the game clearly shown in 3D so we lost him, no only did we lose the English Xehenort we also lost the japanese counter part as he passed away a month before Nimoy did. Also Ansem the one you said is dead is not dead at all. He is in the realm of darkness. He met Aqua there and can be seen in the secret episode of BBS final mix. You should get the facts straight.

Dream Drop Distance Derailed Kingdom Hearts in Style

While very flawed, DDD highlights why the series works as well as it does. Between a willingness to innovate and consistently strong character writing, Kingdom Hearts is never boring. The plot can derail itself off the tracks completely, but there’s still substance within the main cast.

Gameplay can be unrecognizable from title to title, but that’s exactly what keeps each entry worth revisiting. DDD is better than just another KH title. It has a strong identity and knows exactly what kind of game it is, for better or worse.

Dream Drop Distance didn’t have to derail Kingdom Hearts as hard as it did, but doing resulted in an unforgettable experience– a bridge to Kingdom Hearts III that’s as essential as it is eclectic.

Although not 3DS games, I would like to see the Golden Sun games and Chrono Trigger be released on the Switch.

Fist4achin1857d ago

Yes. We are long overdue for a remastered edition of both of those games.

King_Noctis1857d ago

Or give Chrono Triggers a remake. I would really love to see that.
