VVV: "Out of nowhere, Milestone has released the first official gameplay footage of their upcoming new rally IP Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo - quite a step up from their teasing screenshots of barren rally stages.
The brief gameplay trailer shows a small sample of the different special stages, rally cars and game modes you'll be experiencing in Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo, including a first look at Rallycross events. While still work in progress, it offers a more representative showcase of the game compared to our early pre-alpha footage.
Early signs are looking promises, with vibrant and richly detailed dusty trails and authentically narrow twisting tarmac stages."
Carlos writes "Are you feeling the love today? No? Fear not because while there will be plenty off spending their time convincing themselves they can be romantic, those left behind will have plenty to keep occupied with too. But if you’re looking for something a little cheaper than the horde of titles that crashed their way on to the Xbox Games Store this morning a good place to look would be amongst the fresh batch of discounts available in the latest Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale – to save you the heartache of which one to choose, here are our picks of best and worst of those available between the 14th-20th Feb 2017."
Seb Loeb seems to be a stand out deal of the week... And possibly the best deal of the year so far.
VVV: "People don’t tend to have high expectations for bike games, but Ride 2 changed that with its huge selection of bikes, challenging tracks including the narrow Northwest 200 circuit and vastly improved physics that made nailing apexes fun, rewarding and addictive. Even the audio was enhanced – we never thought we would be praising the sound design in a Milestone game. There’s still room for improvement, but Milestone accomplished its mission: Ride 2 is the Gran Turismo of bike games."
VVV: "Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO is a criminally overlooked rally game. That's a shame, because it means that many won't have experienced the ambitious authenticity Milestone has managed to achieve in the special stages which sets it apart from other rally games. Spread across eight locations and 64 stages, Milestone recreated 300km of real roads using a combination of videos and GPS data collated by Loeb himself. The result is the most realistic special stages in any rally game."
i just picked this game up for $12 off amazon! i am more then pleased! lol i find the length of the races to be a bit tedious on occasion but the feeling you get from driving proper rally routes is astonishing and have enjoyed it more then many games ive payed far more for personally :D
i'm hoping that some of these textures and animations are placeholder and early, because I thought it was actually last gen footage. Hopefully we'll see better footage at E3. I just hope they don't rush this game out to make the Christmas rush. I'd like to see a proper next gen rally game.
Milestone...enough said. Don't keep your hopes up.
looks great, I just hope it plays well
Meh, I'll stick with Dirt Rally which is already amazing.
