Orbitor and Storm Worm, Two Australian Student Projects Gone Right | Hardcore Gamer

PAX Prime is an amazing stage for developers both big and small. It’s a chance for aspiring game designers to get their games in front of thousands of people, and one that the Australia-based Academy of Interactive Entertainment, or AIE, grasped with both hands. The school sent over several teams of fledgling developers as part of a school project, and I got the chance to demo two of their most notable efforts, Orbitor and Storm Worm.

Hands-on Preview of Orbitor From PAX Prime 2014 | Entertainment Buddha

EB's Matt Heywood writes, "The indie movement taking place at AIE in Canberra, Australia is strong, as was evident at this year’s PAX Prime in Seattle. The school had multiple developer’s games on display with most of them being from former students, or current faculty. Evil Aliens was one of the studios at the show, and it was showing off Orbitor, which is a fast paced action adventure game with a sci-fi feel and easy to use controls, that also packs a challenge."
