Those of us in the “ensconced in the 80s” crowd get excited whenever one of our video game heroes gets a new release. Q*bert Rebooted is the most recent attempt to tap the root of video game history's family tree.
In this months installment of jamming the PS+ IGC, Blair tackles Q*Bert rebooted.

Carl Williams writes, "The classic Q Bert game has been eyed by a lot of gamers over the years as either demon spawn or a cool game. Which side of the fence you fall on depends on the aggravating diagonal control scheme. Okay, you could fall on either side of the fence for another reason but I wager the controls are up there. Now owners of the NVIDIA Shield can enjoy the infuriating entertainment of Q Bert."
Neil writes "We're big fans of the games that LOOT Interactive drop, and so the arrival of a new four game mega bundle on Xbox One gets us a little bit excited."
Poor Q*Bert deserves better.
That sucks, I remember my mom introducing me to this game on our computer, when I was just a little kid. Had a blast playing that with her.

No, we genuinely don't. More often than not it's the exact opposite because we're old moaning gits and we don't like remakes that take a dump on our glowing childhood memories.
