Ultra Street Fighter IV is probably your best option until Street Fighter V gets a Super-Ultra edition. That's my plan, anyway.

any news on crossplay between PS3 and PS4? if there isnt, ps4 community is gonna be ass considering very little amount of ppl have bought a fight stick for ps4, and most of the ppl i know who play fighting games only have a ps3 since its really all they play. Would make ps4 SF community very light in numbers and casual.

Actually, PS3 fightsticks are going to be compatible with the PS4 version thanks to the developers of Skullgirls.

There is no crossplay . It's supposed to finally have a better and different netcode and it's changeing the input to remove the ps3 input lag . Those fix wouldnt be compatible with the ps3 versions . And at that price i'm sure quite a few fans with both ps3 and ps4 consoles still into it or playing will jump in .

Especially knowing now that ps3 sticks are compatible

Having SF on PS4 is a matter of convenience for me. Tired of switching back and forth between the consoles, so for $25 I won't have that inconvenience anymore.

Or you could you know let the people that do want those remaster do their thing , and just purchase the fighting games released on ps4 , instead of complaining ... between Guilty Gear , Mortal Kombat , Blazblue next month and soon enough tekken and SFV ... There isnt a drough and shortage of Next gen fighting games in 2015 and 2016 .

We've got the basic needs and all the biggest fighting games franchise covered or on the verge of being covered , and yet people wanna moan about a port ...

I'll definitely be playing this tuesday, the ps3 online version is a ghost town and there will be plenty of people to play on ps4 because of the massive fan base not to mention a lot of the high level streetfighter players will be practicing for this year's tournament at EVO (if not already)......plus with the game being 1080p at 60fps and no input lag and all DLC included from the previous versions at a price of only $25....it's a win win if you love streetfighter.
