Who is the Hardest Boss You’ve Ever Faced?

Good calls, but I still think I would give the edge to Ozma. There are zero tactics when it comes to fighting him. Tactics don't work, his attacks are 100% RNG, some of those attacks kill every member with one blow and the RNG attacks are stacked 85-15 against the player. I really don't think they designed him to ever be beaten.

Twintania is hard but that's not the problem. Getting 8 competent people with the SKILLS necessary is the real bitch to deal with.

I almost lost all hope in defeating it when all of a sudden something unique and unusual happened and it happened so fast when it's finished I was still in overwhelmed state. it was Lucky 7s.

I think Cait Sith is the only 3 ways is Lucky 7's, Mime-ing Knights of the Round, or getting to use Cait Sith's Limit Break

Well... Bloodbornes defiled chalice dungeon bosses rank high on my list but just because alot of the bosses can OHK you.

Based on time/action ratio... Watch Dog of the Old Lords, Amygdala OR DR Gate from Megaman X6 (fkr's absurd)

Queen Qualaag from Dark Souls. Or Ebrietes Daughter of Cosmos from Bloodborne. These two had me frustrated to no end.

Hmm, I just started playing Dark souls for the first time some time ago and I didnt find Qualaag specificly hard. Bed of Chaos has probably required most tries so far but it was a BS boss anyways.

I havent yet passed the game so I cant say for sure but the hardest so far have been the two gargoyles (insufficient battle arena), Four Kings (gotta brute force through) and Bed of Chaos.

Oh yeah and I havent won against ebriettas in chalice dungeons yet (havent tried too many times though) but its surprisingly hard... I know I was overleveled when I fought her the first time but I had put my extra levels towards BT and Arcane (didnt use any weapons that scaled well with those stats). Got also stuck on Darkbeast of old Loran.

That I've beat? Nyx/Persona 3 (underleveled) or Vergil/DMC 3 (DMD mode).

Nyx definitely ranks as one of the hardest final bosses in any game. That charm move in the final phase that could cause one of your party members to restore his full health is just plain cruel.

Moonless Gown O_O I literally kept coming back to the endgame for a year! (not every day) before beating him.

The end boss of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

I played him for 6 hours straight, finally beat him with less than 1% of my total life bar left, and was so excited I jumped up in the air and when I landed it shook the floor enough to make the disc skip in the GameCube. It reset the game and I lost my victory. Had to beat em all over again

Last boss in Actraiser 2 and double bison fight in Street Fighter Alpha 3. The chip damage alone is incredible.

Jacquio - Ninja Gaiden for the NES.

Anyone who complains that the new Ninja Gaiden games are hard has no idea of how much worse the NES games were.

Yes Jacquio was hard as nails. Hell all the end game old school ninja Gaiden bosses were hard.

Ebrietas Daughter of the Cosmos, Orstein and Smough, False King, Gongora last boss in Lost Odyssey, Smelter Demon, and the final boss in Infinite Undiscovery was impossible. Metroid Prime had some killer bosses as did RE4 and every old school game ever. Megaman and Megaman X were crazy hard in the wily stages.

Shadow of the Collossus had some great bosses also. Most were more puzzle orientated but very rewarding and challenging. Anything hidden and optional in FF is ridiculous. Every Ninja Gaiden boss is tough as nails also.
