No BioShock 2 info until BioShock PS3 ships

One game everyone wants to get some info on is 2K's BioShock 2. Videogamer.com grabbed Markus Wilding, International PR director, 2K, at E3 for a quick chat in order to try and squeeze some juicy details out of him.

i imagine BioShock 2 will be released at the same time on PS3 and 360. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Illbe getting PS3 BioShock just to play through it again. 2nd best game this generation so far in my opinion.

That BioShock 2 will be coming to the PS3 and 360 at the same time this time around. There's been a big rumor about Microsoft paying for the advertising in exchange for the temporary exclusivity, (Note* I said RUMOR). So, this time around since everybody knows that it's multiplatform then it won't be much of a surprise coming to both PS3 and 360 at the same time.

Either way, I personally can't wait to play BioShock 1 on my PS3. Played it on my brother's 360 for about 4-5 hours and loved every minute of it. Hopefully I won't need to wait a year for the BioShock 2 to make its way eventually to the PS3.

And YES, I do think there's a strong possibility of an online element to this game. The designers can do a lot with the different "powers" that you can obtain throughout the game to make for an interesting multiplayer game.

it might be X360 exclusive and they just don't want to piss off the PS3 fans and cause them to go berserk and protest and the like, or maybe yall are right and it's coming to PS3 as well.... but where there is a yin there will always be a yang, I just want yall to remember that. :)

That's definitely something that we need to keep in mind. If PS3 owners found out that Bioshock2 wouldn't be coming to PS3 then people planning on purchasing Bioshock 1 might think twice about buying it.

EDIT - For whoever disagreed with me, what do you disagree with? Try using your brain for a moment and think about other PS3 owners. I would buy the game regardless, but some people will without a doubt protest Bioshock if it was announced that Bioshock2 was exclusive to the 360. How can you deny that????

The chances of Bioshock 2 being a 360 Exclusive are VERY slim. The only way that Bioshock 2 wont come to the PS3 is if Bioshock 2 is published by Microsoft.

If the first Bioshock is coming to the PS3, Bioshock 2 is coming to the PS3.

There is no reason for 2K Games themselves to make Bioshock 2 a 360 exclusive because it's not like the PS3 can't do anything that the 360 can't do.

You guys never know, it could be the same picture painted all over again like Bioshock 1.

Look at Rock Band and their "exclusive" window for the 360. Look at The Last Remnant for their time exclusive for the 360.

It's MICROSOFT we're talking about here folks. Believe me, they'll write a check to have Bioshock 2 exclusive on the 360 first.

Of course it'd be much better if they ship day and day with each other, but again come onnnnnnnnnnn. $50 million checks don't come everyday. Except from Microsoft.
